We are celebrating our Lord's return to His heavenly Throne! We rejoice as the disciples did as our Lord would be ruling over all things in His full power and glory for our good. After His ascension, He would send the Holy Spirit to work in His disciples, and in us to share His message of forgiveness and life with the world! "The one on the Throne said; I will make everything New!" Those are the words the Risen and exalted Lord Jesus Christ as He shares what the eternal life of all who believe in Him will be. Those who reject Him will be given what their rejection of Him deserves, the eternal torment of hell. But to those who believe, they will live in the New Heaven and New Earth where there is no sin, evil, pain or suffering. My hope is that as the Holy Spirit challenges with God's law, it brings you to your knees of repentance, so that the Lamb on the throne of heaven can cleanse you in His blood and some day welcome you to the New He promises to all who believe! Once again we learn from John as he sees a multitude, too great to count giving praise to the God and the Lamb in heaven as they have been washed in the blood of the Lamb and are living in heaven for all eternity. The great news of Johns vision is that he is seeing all who died in faith and their victory over this sinful world in Christ Jesus. He is seeing our eternal victory.
